Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films generally horror or martial arts. She is similar to The Cinema Snob in that she enjoys dumb action movies. After getting some attention through the channels on Channel Awesome (under her previous handle Obscurus Lupa) and began her write reviews in late 2009. The channel remained participant on the website from January until the beginning of 2015 after which Obscurus Lupa Presents changed into Movie Nights. She also currently runs two podcasts through her channel both covering the Charmed franchise and both co-hosted alongside Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. The appearances she made during Midnight Screenings were usually reviews of terrible films for kids or RiffTrax, but also the odd adult comedy. The first time she reviewed a film was late 2009. She earned a great deal of popularity through the Channel Awesome forum before becoming part of the family. She's appeared in countless Channel Awesome programs, from Atop the Fourth Wall and Phelous & the Movies to Atop the Fourth Wall. She has appeared in numerous seasons of Nostalgia Critic and was a former member of the family that Channel Awesome had with Doug Walker.
